Green Halloween!
1. Use your noggin! Reduce packaging as much as possible.
2. Give out "treats" that are good for the planet (seed packets) or something kids might find useful instead of junk (pencil, bookmark).
3. Make your own costume with stuff you can find around the house or at the Goodwill! Let your kids get creative!
4. After carving pumpkins, wash and roast the seeds. When you're ready to toss the pumpkins, compost them or if you live near some woods, just chuck them into the woods. The critters will love them!
5. As always, use safe, non-toxic cleaning and laundry products along the way. Safer for you, your kids, your pets, your planet! (Email me if you want info about the company I shop from - successwendey@gmail.com)
